Our Authors
Here are just some of our wonderfully talented authors!
Rosy Gee
Rosy Gee is a Legal Secretary by day and a crime writer by night. She discovered she was a 'pantser' style writer after reading Stephen King's book, 'On Writing'. Having tried to write novels in the past, she gave up and they are gathering dust in a cabinet drawer, abandoned but neatly filed.
As soon as she discovered that she could sit at a keyboard and write, the words began to flow and haven't stopped since. Her debut novel, The Mysterious Disappearance of Marsha Boden is set in a picturesque village in Shropshire, not dissimilar to the one where Rosy lives. Who would have thought so much could go on in such a sleepy hamlet? The cosy crime novel is published by RomaReads Publishing and as well as writing children's books she also pens a blog, Rosy's Ramblings.
Rosy lives in Shropshire, England, with her second husband, and is busy working on her second novel and a third children's book.
Jayn Roberts
Jayn has written an incredible Young Adults novel that combines the historical and the mystical together to create an intense and gripping story about the fate of the world and life as we know it. If you love Dan Brown, you're going to want to read this one!❤️
Jayn's Bio:
'When I was a little girl in the late seventies, I wrote stories. Stories of heroes and villains and the fight between good and evil. As I grew, life took over (as it does for many of us) and I found myself being thrust through the usual pattern of life in our reality.'
'Sadly, when I turned
eighteen, I was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma. This trauma changed my reality and this was the first time I began to ask deeper questions about what I was doing here. I was confused by why life would be snatched from me before it had truly begun.'
'What was the purpose? What really was this? I guess these questions never left me as normal life got in the
way, I attended the University of Essex and immersed myself in education.' 'After leaving Essex, I gained my legal training at the BPP Law School in Waterloo. I became a mum for the first time in 2001 and again in 2004 and I have two beautiful children of whom I am immensely proud.'
'Divorce forced me to retrain as an English teacher but this was the greatest gift from that dark
period because I love my job - I love teaching, I love inspiring children to read stories, old myths and legends from our past, to ignite their love of learning today. Blending my passion for hidden history and my love of all fiction, I write stories about the reality of the unseen realm, drawing on everything I’ve ever heard, or ever found out, however insane, to fire up people’s imagination to nudge them to ask...'what if?''
